This project’s proposal is inherently dual, intertwining two worlds and two functions. Conceived as a lamp, yet also as a chair, it is everything and nothing at once: an object, a gesture, a plaything.
Washi is a traditional Japanese handmade rice paper. Delicate, translucent, and organic, it was originally created for ink, but also for making windows and gently filtering light.
